Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batters put on a batting masterclass on Monday, dismantling the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) bowling attack and setting a several IPL records.
After being put to bat first, the SRH batsmen tore into the RCB bowling lineup, amassing a staggering 287 runs in their allotted 20 overs, the new highest IPL team total. The onslaught was fueled by quickfire century from Travis Head (102 off 41 balls), followed by a blistering knock from Heinrich Klaasen (67).
The RCB bowlers looked clueless throughout the innings, with none of them being able to contain the SRH batsmen. As many as four different bowlers leaked over 50 runs in their four overs. This dismal performance has sent shockwaves through the cricketing world and sparked outrage on social media.
