Explosive finisher Rinku Singh has expressed his desire to join the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) if he parts ways with his current franchise KKR in the future. Rinku’s comments come ahead of the mega auction and the team’s decision on the retentions. The finisher was a part of the IPL 2024 winning team led by Shreyas Iyer.
Rinku Singh to RCB next?
Rinku Singh and Virat Kohli have gotten along together quite well in the IPL, with the latter gifting his bat to the former on multiple occassions. Following Dinesh Karthik’s retirement, RCB are desperately looking for a new finisher. Rinku Singh could be the perfect choice for RCB.
“RCB, because Virat Kohli is there” Rinku told Sports Tak.
Rinku Singh has proven to be a valuable asset for KKR, displaying exceptional performance in both the 2023 and current seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Initially acquired by Kolkata for a base price of 55 Lakhs, there’s a strong possibility that KKR may need to adjust his price due to his continued success.
