Indian batter Rinku Singh survived a controversial DRS call during IND vs AFG 3rd T20I at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
The incident happened in the 9th over when Rinku Singh was given out LBW off Qais Ahmad’s delivery.
The batter took the review straight away. While on replay it clearly looked the ball past the inside edge and hit on the knee roll, the UltraEdge showed a slight spike on the bat as the ball passes it.
It came as a shock as there was a gap between the bat and the ball but a spike on ultraedge forced on the on-field umpire to reverse his decision and Rinku survived.
