Rinku Singh is all set for the upcoming Asian Games 2023, displaying his batting excellence by hitting three consecutive sixes in the Super Over on Thursday.The left-handed batsman achieved this remarkable feat to secure an impressive win for the Meerut Mavericks against the Kashi Rudras in a UPT20 League match.
Facing a target of 17 runs in the Super Over, the responsibility fell on Rinku Singh and Divyansh Joshi. Rinku stumbled on the first delivery, failing to score, but then displayed incredible skill, sending the following three deliveries soaring over the boundary ropes. Watch the video below.

Choosing to bat initially, Madhav Kaushik’s excellent innings of 87 runs led Meerut to a total of 181/4. In reply, Karan Sharma (58) and Shivam Bansal (57) played crucial roles for the Kashi Rudras, resulting in the match concluding in a draw.
Earlier this year, while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Rinku Singh blasted five sixes in the final over against the Gujarat Titans, guiding his team to a remarkable victory. Reflecting on the same, Rinku mentioned that it changed his life forever.
“Those five sixes changed my life. People remember me for that moment. I was feeling great when they took my name and the love they have been showering me with,” Rinku Singh said during an interaction with his teammate Ravi Bishnoi on BCCI.tv.
Rinku Singh received his first call-up to the Indian national team during the T20I series in Ireland, where he made an impactful debut by scoring 38 runs at a blistering strike rate of 180.90, earning him the Man of the Match award. Additionally, he has been selected as a part of India’s squad for the Asian Games 2023.
