Following Kolkata Knight Riders’ victory in the Indian Premier League 2024 final, Rinku Singh, the star batter for KKR, was spotted joking around with Rishabh Pant, the wicketkeeper for both India and Delhi Capitals. Notably, KKR won their third IPL title on Sunday, May 26 at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium by defeating SRH by eight wickets.

Rinku’s personality shining bright

Rinku was spotted having a great time after his team won, and the cameras caught his genuine personality during the KKR post-match celebrations. After their victory, Pant also gave the cricketer from Aligarh a video call to congratulate Rinku on his victory.

In a video posted by KKR’s X account, Rinku is seen conversing with Pant. Nitish Rana, who is also there in the video, is seen inquiring about the wicketkeeper’s wellbeing. As Rinku joyfully celebrates his team’s victory later in the video, Rinku is heard announcing that he will be arriving in the USA on 28th May.

Notably, the southpaw will be traveling to the USA to reunite with the team ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 as he is one of the reserve players for India. Rinku was unexpectedly left off of the team because the selectors thought Shivam Dube would be a better choice than him for the team’s starting fifteen-man roster.
