IPL 2024: Ahead of CSK vs RCB IPL 2024 opener, MS Dhoni spotted practicing wicketkeeping much to relief of CSK fans

There were considerable doubts if MS Dhoni will keep wickets for Chennai Super Kings in their opening game against RCB in IPL 2024. However ahead of the CSK vs RCB match MS Dhoni was spotted executing keeping drills. This can be a definitive proof that Dhoni will be keep wickets for CSK in the game.

MS Dhoni shocked the world when he decided to hand over the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad ahead of IPL 2024. There were serious doubts if Dhoni doesn’t keep wickets then who should?

CSK has 3 keepers, MS Dhoni, Devon Conway and Aravelly Avanish Rao. Devon Conway is currently injured which means that inexperienced Aravelly Avanish Rao is the only option left. It is however good news for Chennai Super Kings that MS Dhoni is the main man behind the wickets.

It can potentially be the last dance for MS Dhoni in IPL. As the former India Cricket Team skipper nears the end of his career, he has slowly passed on his baton to Ruturaj Gaikwad to lead the Yellow Army.

Furthermore, with Conway out for 8 weeks, it is only plausible that MS Dhoni will keep wickets for the defending champions.
