Overseas 11 before IPL auction

The duo of Jos Buttler and Jake Fraser-McGurk have been given the opening role. Both of them have the ability to utilize the field restrictions, as they also performed quite well with the bat in the last concluded edition of the IPL. Apart from his batting, Buttler can also keep the wickets.

The skipper of the side, Faf du Plessis, is slated next. While Du Plessis prefers to take the opening spot, the former South African batter has also played at the No.3 spot. After Du Plessis, we have a solid middle order consisting of all-rounders like Cameron Green, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, and Liam Livingstone.

The bowling unit will be headed by ace pacer Mitchell Starc, who will share the new ball with Kiwi pacer Trent Boult. In the spin department, we have the likes of Maheesh Theekshana and Noor Ahmed as they will be completing our released overseas 11 before the IPL mega auction.

To note, most of these players will also be available in the IPL mega auction. As a result, we can see a bid war for the above-mentioned players trying to extend their legacy in the franchise-based league.
