Registration starts for ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets, Know step-by-step process

Fans can book ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets on ICC website

Indian cricket fans across the globe received the best possible news on the 77th Independence Day as the pre-registration tickets for ODI World Cup 2023 have started. International Cricket Council (ICC) shared the news about the same on their website. On 15th August from 3:30 PM, fans can book tickets for the showpiece event set to be played in India from October 5 to November 18.

Before the tickets go on sale, fans will have to register their interest via https://www.cricketworldcup.com/register from 15 August. This will enable them to receive ticket news first and help secure their spot at the World Cup and experience the joy of cricket in one day. For the non-India matches, fans can book tickets on August 25, and for India matches fans can book tickets from August 30.

Also, there won’t be an E-ticket facility available. After the fans book tickets, they have to either collect the tickets 72 hours before the game or procure tickets by courier by giving 140 rupees. BCCI have also given state associations the freedom to set prices for World Cup. Only the Central Association of Bengal (CAB) have announced prices for World Cup.

The tickets will be available to purchase on the ICC website and app

The tickets will also likely be available on third-party platforms like Bookmyshow.

Fans need to first register themselves on www.cricketworldcup.com/register.

Now go to the preferred ticket-selling platform. You can buy the tickets on the ICC website or Bookmyshow.

Select the match you want to purchase the ticket for.

Select your preferred seating area. Notably, different stands will have different pricing.

Enter your details and make the payment.

You will receive the confirmation for the tickets. Since E-tickets will not be accepted by the BCCI, do not forget to take a hard copy of the tickets.

The price for WC 2023 tickets have not been revealed. However, sources claim that the tickets will range somewhere between 500 to 10,000 rupees for general categories.

The booking will be carried out in this order.

  • August 25: Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
  • August 30: India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
  • August 31: India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
  • September 1: India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
  • September 2: India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
  • September 3: India matches at Ahmedabad
  • September 15: Semi-Finals and Final
