The Bangalore franchise was bought by Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited for Rs 901 crore. The group is owned by United Spirits which was acquired by the Diageo group. The company sells premium alcohol and is India’s leading alcohol beverage company. They also own the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. The franchise is yet to taste success after 15 seasons.
RCB WPL Squad: Auction Purse
Like all teams, RCB will enter the Auction with a purse of Rs 12 crore. The franchise can buy a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 18 players. Players base price ranges from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
