But even after winning both matches, PBKS will have to depend on other results to go their way, especially of KKR and MI.
KKR have two matches left and they face SRH and RR. If they win both, it will come down to the NRR and KKR have an advantage with a positive NRR of +0.302.
PBKS will need KKR to lose at least one.
The other factor is Mumbai Indians. Even though MI are behind on NRR, Rohit Sharma & Co have a match in hand. They face DC, RR and SRH and winning two of them will keep in the hunt, meaning PBKS’ chances will be slimmer if MI better the NRR.
