We at Insidesport will take you through key battles to watch out for.
Virat Kohli vs Sunil Narine
RCB captain Virat Kohli, who is playing his last season as the captain of the IPL, has shown a glimpse of form in IPL 2021. He would aim to make the final push and take RCB to the second qualifier. Virat has scored 366 runs in 14 games with 3 fifties in it. To counter the Virat Kohli threat, Eoin Morgan will look to bowl Sunil Narine in the powerplay. The West Indies mystery spinner has taken 10 wickets in 11 games for KKR.

AB de Villiers vs Andre Russell
AB de Villiers was sent up the order by RCB in their last league game against DC as he did not get to bat much in this season. He has shown some form in that game and RCB will be counting on him to deliver in the must-win game against KKR. He has scored 302 runs in 14 games with the help of this season. While on the other hand, Andre Russell who was injured in the last few games is likely to make a comeback in the next game. Russell is a big asset for KKR with the ball as well as with the bat. So far he has scored 183 runs with 11 wickets to his name.
Shubman Gill vs Mohammed Siraj
Shubman Gill has been consistent with the bat for KKR. The right-hand batsman is coming into this game with a fifty in the last game. Gill has scored 352 runs in 14 games with the help of two fifties. However, his strike rate of 119 is a big concern for KKR. To counter the Gill, Virat Kohli will go with Mohammed Siraj in the powerplay overs. Over the last year, Siraj has improved a lot and Siraj will be a potent weapon against Gill.
Eyes set on the task ahead. 💪🏻

Glenn Maxwell vs Varun Chakravarthy
One of the biggest reasons behind RCB making it to the playoff is Glenn Maxwell’s form. He has been consistent with the bat throughout the IPL 2021. The Australian big hitter has scored, 498 runs with a strike rate of 147.33. He has also been handy with the ball at times, picking three wickets. While on the other hand, KKR’s trump card against Maxi will be Varun Chakravarthy. The mystery spinner has picked 16 wickets this season and is one of the best spinners in the cash-rich league. He is bowling with an economy of 6.50.
Venkatesh Iyer vs Harshal Patel
Venkatesh Iyer has been the star of the season for KKR. He entered the team when the chips were down and all the odds were against KKR. From there, KKR managed to qualify for the playoffs and now all eyes will be against Iyer on the big day for RCB. Iyer has scored 239 runs in 7 games so far. To counter the Iyer threat, Virat will look to bowl Harshal Patel in the powerplay. The purple cap holder has picked wickets consistently for RCB. Harshal has 30 wickets in 14 games to his name.
