RCB to win first title only in 2029, predicts AI: Will Virat Kohli still be around?

RCB has made it to the finals of the IPL thrice, back in 2009, 2011, and in 2016, and have largely struggled since then.

AI can do anything. Now it’s even predicting the winners for the IPL for the next few years. But the million dollar question remains, will Virat Kohli and RCB win the tournament? AI answered this too. As per ChatGPT, RCB is slated to win their first title only in 2029, that’s still five years away. But whether RCB stalwart Virat be still around till then, is difficult to answer.

RCB’s Continued Woes Over the Years

In short, the next five years might not be the best for the RCB team, that is already struggling in this 2024 season. This year, in the five matches they have played, the team has lost four matches, and won only a single encounter. The batsmen and bowlers alike, have failed to deliver, and that has cost them big. In fact, it would only take a Herculean effort from the team to make it to the playoffs.

More on RCB

Last year too, the team had finished to make it to the next round, and had finished sixth in the points table. Interestingly, after winning their first title, RCB is slated to win their next trophy after a gap of 10 years. That just explains the team’s poor showing in the tournament throughout this span of time.

Virat Kohli & RCB’s Future

At 35, Virat Kohli is undoubtedly RCB’s most consistent and best player, and by a mile. While his team is struggling this year, he is still the orange cap holder with 316 runs. But his title drought in the tournament has been baffling for the fans. With the way the team has has made flawed choices when it comes to IPL Auctions, and even team Playing XI, it only looks growingly certain that a title isn’t coming to them, anytime soon.
