RCB Playing XI vs PBKS, IPL 2024: Faf du Plessis announces unchanged playing XI for Royal Challengers Bengaluru

Royal Challengers Bengaluru is ready to play their second game of the campaign. After their opening day loss to Chennai Super Kings, RCB will keen to bag all 2 points against PBKS. Faf du Plessis won the toss and opted to bowl first. RCB has gone with an unchanged playing XI but the skipper emphasised on how there can be changes in the Impact Players.

It was a no brainer choice for Faf to opt to chase after winning the toss. RCB has a strong batting setup. They will be eyeing to go full throttle during their run chase.

“We are going to have a bowl. It looks a pretty good wicket but also because of the way our team is set up. The boys are excited for the season. In any game of cricket you can’t have clusters of wickets and we have to improve on that. Same team and one or two options on changing the substitutions,” said Faf du Plessis during the Toss.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Playing XI: Faf du Plessis(c), Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Dinesh Karthik, Anuj Rawat(w), Alzarri Joseph, Mayank Dagar, Mohammed Siraj, Yash Dayal

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Subs: Suyash Prabhudessai, Mahipal Lomror, Karn Sharma, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Swapnil Singh

Though Rajat Patidar has been a bit dry in their runs, Faf has put his trust on the batter. RCB will be eyeing for a strong bowling attack to restrict PBKS from piling up a big score.
