RCB Playing XI vs KKR: With Hasaranga and Chameera unavailable, Virat Kohli & Co to rely on winning combination
RCB Playing XI vs KKR, IPL 2021 Eliminator: Virat Kohli is likely to settle for his winning combination despite doubts over Dan Christian’s form for the Eliminator against KKR. RCB have found their groove late in the tournament and have been one of the best-performing sides, finishing outside the top 2 on net run rate.
IPL 2021 Playoffs: While replacing Dan Christian will be on the team’s agenda, Virat Kohli and head coach Mike Hesson are devoid of options after Sri Lankan duo Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera left the team to join up with the Sri Lankan squad for the T20 World Cup camp. While Chameera was unlikely to be in contention, Hasaranga could have had a chance to feature especially considering the sluggish and slow track on offer at Sharjah.
“Hasaranga and Chameera had been asked to join the Sri Lanka team by October 10. That was what we agreed on and it still stands. We expect them to join the squad soon,” an SLC official told InsideSport on Sunday.
RCB Playing XI vs KKR, IPL 2021 Eliminator: In the Sri Lankan all-rounder’s absence, Dan Christian is likely to get an extended lease of life, despite his poor returns. Tim David could be in contention having been dropped after playing only a solitary game, but Christian’s ability to chip in with his medium pace, will likely see him retain his place in the side.
