However, the team, led by Faf du Plessis, found redemption with a triumph over the Punjab Kings, fueled by a stellar performance from Virat Kohli, who crafted a match-winning innings of 77 runs from 49 balls while chasing a target of 177 runs. Subsequently, RCB suffered three consecutive defeats against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals.
In their recent match against the Rajasthan Royals, Kohli’s heroic century, comprising 113 runs off 72 deliveries, propelled RCB to a competitive total of 183/3. Nonetheless, despite Kohli’s valiant effort, RCB’s bowlers faltered against the onslaughts of Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson, as RR successfully chased down the target of 184 runs with four balls to spare.
