The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is taking the fan experience to a whole new level with their innovative ‘Dog Out’ zone at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. This one-of-a-kind initiative in the Indian Premier League (IPL) allows dog lovers to enjoy the electrifying atmosphere of the stadium alongside their furry companions.
Introduced in 2019 for just one game, Dog Out has now become a permanent fixture at RCB’s home ground. The zone provides comfortable seating for pet parents, ensuring a delightful experience for both cricket enthusiasts and their ‘four-legged’ companions.
“We’re thrilled to offer the Dog Out zone our home ground, providing pet parents with the opportunity to share unforgettable moments with their furry companions,” said Rajesh Menon, VP and Head of Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
“Many fans used to miss out on the excitement of watching RCB play as they were confined to home, tending to their pets during matches but now they can come to the stadium and watch cricket with their pets without any inconvenience.”
Menon further emphasized RCB’s commitment to inclusivity. “The Dog Out zone welcomes all breeds, as long as the dogs are well-behaved, independent, and in good health. We even provide food and water bowls for them during the matches.”
This initiative reflects RCB’s dedication to fostering and increasing a strong and inclusive fan community. ‘Dog Out’ promises to be a haven for cricket enthusiasts and dog lovers alike, uniting them in their shared passion for the sport and their love for their four-legged family members.
