The craze for Virat Kohli was on full display by the fans outside the Arun Jaitley stadium in New Delhi on Thursday. Fans thronged to the venue to catch a glimpse of the former Indian skipper who returned to Ranji Trophy after 12 years. Ecstatic fans chanted “RCB RCB” outside the venue before they were allowed to enter the stadium. Kohli, who is synonymous to RCB, was showered with love by the Bold Army fans.

Virat’s return to Ranji Trophy saw fans thronging to the venue and waiting for entry since 3 AM. Such is the craze for the RCB star that the DDCA has decided to allow fans free entry to the stadium for Delhi’s game against Railways. Fans simply need to furnish their Aadhar card and would be allowed to watch the match for free of cost.

Delhi won the toss and are bowling first in the contest against Railways. Kohli last featured in the Ranji Trophy in 2012. He joined the Delhi camp for training on Tuesday and was seen sweating it out in the nets over the last two days in preparation for the Railways match. Prior to his arrival in the national capital, Kohli was practicing his back foot technique with ex-India coach Sanjay Bangar in Mumbai.
