Most wickets in IPL, ft Yuzvendra Chahal
Punjab Kings leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is the leading wicket-taker in the IPL to date. With 205 wickets in just 160 IPL matches, Chahal has been wonderful with the ball. Not only is he a wicket-taking bowler, but he also possesses an impressive bowling economy of 7.84, showcasing his ability to restrict the run flow as well.
With 192 wickets in his tally, Piyush Chawla is the second-leading wicket-taker. Having played for four teams, he has picked up the most scalps for Punjab Kings with 84 wickets. In the previous edition of the IPL, he was playing for the Mumbai Indians, having 27 dismissals for the team.
Apart from Chahal and Piyush, eight other players have also scalped more than 100 wickets in the IPL to date. Players like Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, and the former Sri Lankan legend Lasith Malinga are also feature in the list.
