Now, key Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has shared an update on Bumrah’s fitness. Jadeja has starred in the ongoing one-day international series, picking six wickets at an average of 10.17.

Ravindra Jadeja attended the post-match press conference following India’s series-clinching ODI win in Cuttack against England. While Jadeja did his magic with the ball, it was Rohit Sharma’s heroic century that laid the platform. Following the game, Jadeja was asked about Bumrah’s availability for the ICC Champions Trophy, to which Jadeja replied:
“It’s not my department. It’s the job of the medical department; they’re following up. Hopefully, he gets fit. It will be a huge boost for us. It is good for the whole country as well, not only for our team.” Following the assessment of scans, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will take a call on his availability for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
