India on Thursday proved to be the better team in the T20 World Cup semi-final as they Rohit Sharma and co pipped England by 68 runs to reach their first final in the tournament in a decade. After the convincing win, former and present cricketers took to social media to express their satisfaction at dominant display.
Vaughan doffs hat to the better team
Michael Vaughan, who had previously accused the fixtures of favouring India, said India ‘thoroughly deserved to win’. However, Indians Ravichandran Ashwin and Wasim Jaffer did not leave the opportunity to troll the former England captain.
“India thoroughly deserve to be in the final .. The best team in tournament so far .. Was always going to hard for England on this pitch .. India just so much better on lower slower spinning pitches,” Vaughan posted on X.

Ashwin replied to the comment, taking the help of a complex mathematical solution to explain why India deserved to win.

Wasim Jaffer enquires about Vaughan’s well-being
Forrner India opener Wasim Jaffer, who’s hillarious banter with Vaughan on social media is a common sight, uploaded a funny video and asked Vaughan if he was alright.
