Ravichandran Ashwin makes bold IPL 2024 Auction predictions for CSK, RCB & MI

CSK, RCB, and MI have 31.40 crore, 23.25 crore, and 17.75 crore left in their IPL 2024 action purse.

With the IPL 2024 auction scheduled for December 19 in Dubai, Ravichandran Ashwin has given his two cents on which players Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Mumbai Indians (MI) will go after. Ashwin, who himself plays for the Rajasthan Royals, revealed his prediction for the auction on his YouTube channel.

Ashwin’s predictions for CSK

The off-spinner named six players that his former franchise will go after. He picked two middle-order batters in Karun Nair and Manish Pandey, two all-rounders in Shardul Thakur and Shahrukh Khan, and two pacers in Jaydev Unadkat and Harshal Patel.

For the Royal Challengers Bangalore, the spinner named Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins as replacements for Josh Hazlewood and David Willey.

Ashwin went as far as saying that RCB may go all out for Starc and pay him 20 crore at the IPL 2024 auction.

Ashwin’s predictions for MI

Asserting the point that the Mumbai Indians already have a strong team, the Rajasthan Royals player felt that if they could get Gerald Coetzee and Wanindu Hasaranga, they’d be the strongest team.

Ashwin stated that Coetzee will be a direct replacement for quick Jofra Archer at the IPL 2024 auction, and they’ll be lucky if they also get Hasaranga.
