Ravi ‘flying’ Bishnoi pulls off a Jadeja! Spinner bags a stunner at point in IND vs ZIM 3rd T20I

Was it a bird? Was it a spider cam? Oh, hold on, that was a flying Ravi Bishnoi, who plucked a wondrous catch.

If there had been another Indian fielding medal ceremony, then Ravi Bishnoi would’ve certainly been rewarded with gold, as he stole the show during the third T20I against Zimbabwe. His exceptional catch at the point left everyone in awe. It was a place where Indian fans have been accustomed of seeing Ravindra Jadeja pull off blinders.

How Ravi Bishnoi plucked a stunner vs ZIM

After setting a challenging target of 183 for the hosts, India put Zimbabwe on the back foot early, reducing them to a precarious 19/3. It was during this crucial phase that Bishnoi produced a moment of brilliance. Avesh Khan bowled a length delivery outside off stump to Brian Bennett, who looked to break the shackles. He swung hard at the ball, sending it flying flat and powerful towards backward point.

What followed was a display of athleticism and exceptional reflexes from Bishnoi. With minimal time to react, Bishnoi perfectly timed his jump, reaching out with both hands and plucking the ball out of thin air. The commentators described the catch as one of the finest examples you’d see in close fielding.

This sensational grab not only sent the dangerous Bennett back to the pavilion but also exemplified the stark difference in fielding between the two sides. While Zimbabwe faltered in the field earlier, India showcased their superior fielding skills, with Bishnoi’s catch being the shining example.
