As round two matches of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 get underway on October 18, all eyes will be on two entities in particular – Sanju Samson and Mumbai. Sanju Samson to kick off Ranji Trophy campaign
Sanju Samson recently revealed that he had been asked to focus on red-ball cricket by the leadership group and that he had been informed that he was in the consideration of the selectors for Tests. With an eye on an highly unlikely spot in the Indian Test side, the keeper-batter will commence his domestic red-ball campaign for Kerala by carrying on from the momentum he received from his century in the Duleep Trophy. Mumbai eye comeback after defeat in opener
Defending champions Mumbai started off their Ranji Trophy season on a losing note as the succumbed to Baroda in their very first game.
