The stage for the Ranji Trophy 2024 semifinals is set. After the Mumbai vs Baroda match ended in a draw, the fourth and last team semifinalists have been set. With Vidharba, Tamil Nadu, and Madhya Pradesh having already sealed the three spots, Mumbai has joined them.
Although the Mumbai vs Baroda match ended in a draw, as per the Ranji Trophy’s rules, the team that takes the first innings lead in a knockout match that ends in a draw moves ahead. And so, despite Baroda doing well, they have been knocked out after Mumbai ended up with a 36-run lead after the end of Baroda’s first innings.
