Andhra Pradesh batter Hanuma Vihari vows not to play for the side ever again, while making stunning revelations. The India middle-order batter was allegedly asked to retire for shouting at a player whose father was a politician. Vihari reveals that he was asked to resign despite no fault in his captaincy.
Vihari promises to never play for Andhra Pradesh
The player in question with Vihari is Kuntrapakam Prudhviraj. He was the 17th player in Andhra’s first game against Bengal.
Recently, while speaking to ESPNCricinfo, Vihari claims that everyone has ups and downs and that his job is to now score runs in Ranji Trophy. The right-handed batter has amassed 335 runs in seven innings so far. However, Vihari still has his eyes on a Test comeback and expressed his ambition to find his way back by scoring runs.
“I do feel sad and disappointed that I am not in the Test team, but everyone goes through ups and downs, and my job now is to score runs in the Ranji Trophy,” Vihari said.
“The season has gone all right, both for the team and for me. So the ambition is to score a lot of runs and try to return to the Test team,” he added.
