Ramiz Raza loses cool: Ramiz Raza vs Indian journalist: Sri Lanka wins Asia Cup: It was not a great Sunday for Pakistan in the Asia Cup final. They lost to Sri Lanka. The same night, Pakistan Cricket Board chief Ramiz Raza also banned limelight on social media for the wrong reasons. When a question was asked by the Indian journalist, he did not take it in his stride. In fact, little later he even tried to snatch the phone of the journalist.
Such kind of a behaviour was not expected from the top boss of PCB. It has been a year since the former Pakistan captain took over the reigns of the board.
Ramiz Raza loses cool: Watch PCB chief snatch India journalist’s phone in response to a simple question after Pakistan’s loss in Asia Cup finalWhat really transpired?
After the match got over, some media personnel and fans were present outside the stadium. Some of the journalists, obviously, wanted to ask questions to Raza about the match. The Indian journalist with a camera asked a question politely. He asked if he had any sort of message for the Pakistan cricket fans, who were heartbroken after the final loss.
क्या मेरा सवाल ग़लत था – क्या पाकिस्तान के फ़ैन नाखुश नहीं है – ये बहुत ग़लत था एक बोर्ड के चेयरमैन के रूप में – आपको मेरा फ़ोन नहीं छीनना चाहिये था – that’s not right Mr Chairman Taking my phone was not right @TheRealPCB @iramizraja #PAKvSL #SLvsPAK pic.twitter.com/tzio5cJvbG

Raza even did not try to answer the question in a proper manner. He took a dig at the Indian journalist, and said people in India must be happy with the result. It is important to note that the question posed at Raza was not malicious in nature.
After a light discussion between the two, Ramiz even went forward and tried to snatch the mobile and stop the recording. The entire episode took place outside the Dubai International Stadium.
How did SL win the title?
The title win for Sri Lanka was fairytale in nature. From losing the first match of the Asia Cup to Sri Lanka winning the final, the script could not have been any better.
In the all-important final, Sri Lanka managed to score 170/6 in 20 overs. Bhanuka Rajapaksa scored a brilliant 71. When it came to defending that score, they did splendidly well, Pakistan were dismissed for 147 with Pramod Madhushan scalping four wickets. Sri Lanka won the title by 23 runs.
