Anvay is intriguingly a wicketkeeper as well. For a while, Rahul served as Team India’s primary wicketkeeper in Tests and ODIs. When India was having trouble finding a wicketkeeper-batter, he accepted the position. The gloves were given to Dravid when the newcomers failed to establish themselves. Prior to the arrival of MS Dhoni, Dravid was a specialised batter.

Anvay is still a youngster and plans to try to match his father’s accomplishments. Samit, Anvay’s older brother, plays cricket as well. Samit stole the show when he scored two double-centuries at the U-14 level in the 2019–20 season. Anvay now has his work cut out for him in the competition because Samit has already established himself at the U-14 level.

IND vs NZ 2nd ODI: As Michael Bracewell appeared to be in a different frame of mind and was determined to ruin “double-ton” man Shubman Gill and India’s celebration in Hyderabad, Mohammed Siraj’s outstanding bowling performance helped India win the first ODI against New Zealand. India was put on edge by Bracewell and Mitchell Santner’s partnership as the two all-rounders brought the Kiwis dangerously close to victory.

India defeated New Zealand by a score of 12-runs in the opening game of the three-match series on Wednesday in Hyderabad. With this, India now leads New Zealand 1-0. With the score at 350, New Zealand’s opener Devon Conway was out after only 10 balls. The Men in Blue have already sent the message that they cannot treat the opposition lightly by recording a total above 300, so all eyes are now on the second ODI.
