Rachin trains for AFG vs NZ Test

It was 77 days ago when New Zealand last played an international game. That was at their disappointing T20 World Cup 2024 campaign. However, their focus now shifts to a packed Test schedule. The Black Caps will play 9 Tests in next three months, including a one-off Test against Afghanistan.

However, the one Test against Afghanistan is under question courtesy of bad weather in Greater Noida. The venue is expected to receive heavy dose of rainfall in next few days, putting the showdown that is from September 8 under suspect. Following the Test against Afghan side, the Kiwis will travel to Sri Lanka for two Tests. However, then will come a major challenge when Team India will host them for 3 Tests. For their home season, New Zealand will host England for three more Tests.
