R Ashwin cuts cake with buddies, celebrates birthday before Ind vs Ban Test

Ravichandran Ashwin celebrated his 38th birthday with Team India in the dressing room by cutting a cake on September 17.

As Ravichandran Ashwin turned 38 on September 17, Team India celebrated his birthday with a cake-cutting in the dressing room. Ashwin is set to play in the India vs Bangladesh two-match Test series, with the first match being held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from September 19.

Ashwin received a special gesture from his teammates, who organized a small celebration for the veteran spinner, continuing the tradition with a cake-cutting ceremony.

Ashwin made his debut in Test match for the Indian team in November 2011 and has been a reliable player ever since. With 516 scalps, Ashwin is the ninth player overall and the second-leading wicket-taker in the 100 Tests that he has played for India.

His career average in Test cricket was 23.75, and he bowled at an economy rate of 2.81. In Test cricket, Ashwin was the bowler who finished 400, 450, and 500 wickets the quickest, and the fastest to reach 250, 300, and 350 wickets. In addition, he has 514 fifty runs and 3309 runs to his credit.
