Karachi Kings who endured a very poor season, having lost eight consecutive games, was finally able to break the drought and clinched victory against Quetta Gladiators in their last game. Pace bowler Mir Hamza was in terrific form, picking up four wickets in that match. He dismissed the highest run-getter of this tournament, Fakhar Zaman in single digit for the first-time this season. He also provided important breakthrough that helped Karachi to victory. Karachi lacked a bowler like him this season and he will be expected to perform in the same manner in their final match of the season.
Babar Azam has been their best batter for Karachi Kings as he has scored 307 runs in nine games. Apart from Babar the team also has batters like Sharjeel Khan, Joe Clarke, etc, but all of them have performed well in patches. Against a strong team like Quetta, that has its own bowling issues, the team will look to perform well with the bat, for one last time this season.

Jason Roy’s who scored a century and a fifty in his first two games hasn’t fired with the bat since. Will Smeed has shown good form by hiting couple of nineties in the season. Umar Akmal too scored a 20 ball fifty in the last game. Collectively, the batsman need to put up a good show against Karachi.
Their bowlers were taken to the cleaners by Multan Sultans batsmen in their last game. Apart from Mohammad Rizwan who conceded 28 runs in 21 balls, all the other bowlers conceded more than 10 runs per over in that game. Sohail Tanvir has been very expecnsive in the last two matches. They need to curb the run-flow to stand any chance of winning this important contest.
