Harmanpreet Kaur: WPL 2023 – Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur showed off her uber-cool moves after the team recorded the fourth straight victory against UP Warriorz. WPL 2023: Harmanpreet Kaur’s blistering 50 downs UP Warriorz, Mumbai Indians only unbeaten team in WPL
Yet another day, and yet another time Harmanpreet showed her class with the bat in hand. Chasing 160 to win against Warriorz, the skipper paced her innings superbly and scored an unbeaten 53 off just 33 balls. The right-hand batter’s blistering knock enabled a comfortable eight-wicket victory for Mumbai. The franchise registered the fourth straight victory and is currently the only unbeaten team in the WPL.
Another win in the next match against the Gujarat Giants will enable them to book a place in the semi-final. Mumbai Indians are managing to perform collectively well in the competition, and that is one of the catalysts behind their resounding victories in each of their four games. Hayley Matthews has led the charge with the bat in hand scoring 168 runs, while Saika Ishqaue has been a revelation with the ball in hand picking 12 wickets.
Several other players like Yastika Bhatia, Amelia Kerr, and Nat Sciver have also chipped in with valuable contributions with the bat in hand. MI are looking the team to beat in WPL 2023.
