PSZ beat QTG: Hussain alat’s half-century and stand-in captain Shoaib Malik’s unbeaten 48 ensured that Peshawar Zalmi began their campaign with a thrilling five-wicket win over the Quetta Gladiators on Friday. Chasing 191 to win, Talat and Malik put on a fine partnership before the latter finished the job, hitting James Faulkner for 22 runs in the penultimate over to swing the case. PSZ beat QTG: Hussain’s 52 at a blistering strike rate of just under 180 set the platform for Zalmi to overhaul the daunting target of 191 with two balls spare.
