PSL Exhibition Match Highlights: Peshawar vs Quetta Exhibition – Quetta Gladiators win by 3 runs – Naseem Shah bowled a brilliant last over to defend 8 runs as Quetta Gladiators pipped Peshawar Zalmi by 3 runs in the exhibition match. Mohd Haris and Babar Azam set the stage in the chase but Peshawar lost quick wickets in the middle overs in 185 chase. Earlier, Quetta Gladiators set a stiff 185-run target for Babar Azam’s Peshwara Zalmi in the Exhibition match. It should be noted that Ifthikar’s first 50 came off at a sluggish rate. He took 42 balls to reach the mark. But Wahab Riaz’s one over changed the match. Ifthikar slammed 6 sixes off Riaz in one over as he scored the next 44 runs off just 8 deliveries.

The PSL Exhibition match was stopped for 30 minutes after a bomb blast near the stadium. Furthermore, there was crowd violence in the Stadium. The crowd pelted stones. As a safety measure, players were escorted out of the stadium.

In the exhibition match, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bowl first. In an all-Pakistani line-ups, Umar Akmal is in Sarfaraz Ahmed’s XI. Shahid Afridi is playing under Babar’s captaincy.

PSL Exhibition Match: Quetta will also host Houston Hurricanes for three T20 games in Karachi. All three matches will be played at National Stadium Karachi on January 29, 30, and 31.

The PCB and the Balochistan government are leaving no stone unturned to make this match a success. The Baloch govt has ensured all the necessary arrangements including security.
