The local player category renewals were completed on November 10, with upgrades for nine players. The registration window for foreign players opened on October 25, attracting interest from top players worldwide.
PSL 9 trade window
The trade and retention window is currently open. In a recent trade, Karachi Kings exchanged Imad Wasim for Hasan Ali with Islamabad United, also securing Islamabad United’s first-round silver pick in return for their second silver pick.
There are reports of Mohammad Amir leaving Karachi Kings for Quetta Gladiators, and discussions suggest Karachi Kings approaching Multan Sultans for a trade involving Shan Masood.
Strong indications point towards Masood becoming the captain for Karachi Kings in PSL 9, and there are talks of Tayyab Tahir being traded to Multan Sultans to strengthen their squad.
