Islamabad United pacer Naseem Shah has been fined 10 percent of his match fee in PSL 2024. Shah is found guilty of breaching of a level 1 breach of the PSL’s Code of Conduct. The incident took place in the game against Multan Sultans.
PSL 2024: Naseem Shah fined
Naseem Shah was charged for violating Article 2.2 that deals with abuse of cricket equipment or clothing, ground equipment or fixtures and fittings. Shah had kicked the stumps after the final ball of Multan Sultans’ innings. The pacer pleaded guilty to the charges and sanctions proposed by match referee Roshan Mahanama.

IU vs MS: Islamabad United make it to PSL 2024 playoffs
Islamabad United managed to clinch a nail-biting win in Rawilpindi against Multan Sultans. Colin Munro (84 off 40) and skipper Shadab Khan (54 off 31) helped IU set a mammoth 232-run target.
In reply, the Sultans fell short in their run-chase, losing the game by four runs. MS were bowled out for 228 runs despite a fiery hundred from Usman Khan (100 off 50). Munro was adjudged the Player of the Match.
