Ahead of the start of the PSL, Babar Azama and Shaheen Afridi are in full swing to prepare for the tournament. The duo went toe-to-toe against one another at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. While the ace pacer was seen bowling a wide variety of deliveries, Babar Azam on the other hand, showcased his batting virtuoso with impeccable timing.

It will be a clash of giants when Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi’s sides meet one another in the tournament. Babar Azam who was the skipper of the Karachi Kings has made a switch. After 7 seasons with the Karachi outfits, he will now lead Peshawar Zalmi from the front.

“It is an honour for me to lead the franchise, and I’m excited about the new challenge. Peshawar Zalmi is one of the best teams of PSL and has done well consistently over the past few years,” Babar had said after his appointment.
On the other hand, Shaheen Afridi is raring to go in full swing in PSL season 8. After winning the trophy last season with their maiden trophy with Lahore Qalandars, Afridi will target to maintain their momentum up and running.
The 8th edition of the PSL will kick start on 13th February when Shaheen Afridi’s side Lahore Qalanders will begin their title defense against Multan Sultans.
