The Pakistani skipper did a Rohit Sharma during a press conference when a journalist asked a question related to his ex-team Karachi Kings’ batting performances in the ongoing PSL. Azam savagely answered the question and said, “Agar main Pakistan ka coach bana to main bataunga, abhi kya bataunga (If I become the coach of Pakistan, I can tell. PSL 2023: Zalmi off to a mixed start in PSL 8, Azam third in the list of run-scorer
Azam captained the Karachi Kings last year, but failed to win even a single game. Ahead of the eighth season Azam joined Zalmi and is leading the side. The franchise are off to a mixed start in the PSL 8 as they have played four games and won two and lost two. Zalmi are placed fourth on the points table. Azam though has performed well for the side scoring 171 in four games. Currently, he is third in the run-scorer list.
