Quetta Gladiators are bolstered by the arrival of Jason Roy at the top of the order, the England batsman played one of the best knocks in PKL history by scoring a 49-ball century in the previous match that helped Quetta chase 205 and avoid a third consecutive loss and clinch an important victory against Lahore Qalandars. Quetta will now look to build on that momentum when they take on Shadab Khan led Islamabad United.

For Islamanad, the skipper has been in a top-form with both the bat and ball. He has already scored two fifties in the tournament. In the last match against Karachi Kings, the skipper produced a quick-fire 34 before taking 4-15 with the ball. He will once again lead the team from the front in both the departments and will look to bridge the gap between them and table-toppers Multan Sultans.

Isalamabad will be without the services of Irishman Paul Stirling who has gone back to interational duty, but they have Alex Hales and Colin Munro at the top of the order, who have been in terrific form. The last time when these two teams met, Islamabad scored a mammoth 229/4, with Colin Munro top-scoring with an unbeaten 72. Chasing 230, Quetta managed just 186 and lost the game by 43 runs. Quetta’s bowlers need to step up to give a tough fight in the contest.
