On Wednesday, reports surfaced that Afridi pulled out due to personal reasons as his kids will be alone at home. However, the real reason is that he tested positive for Covid
Another media platform in Pakistan has reported that Afridi has told the management of the franchsie that “he is suffering from back & he will not be able to participate in the PSL Season 7”.
Pakistan Cricket Board or the franchise Quetta Gladiators is yet to officially release any statement in this regard. It is worth noting that Afridi was playing his farewell season in the Pakistan Super League
