Prithvi Shaw played his first match of IPL 2024 in DC vs CSK clash. And the Delhi Capitals opener showcased his class with a brilliant knock. He might have missed his fifty, but he gave a perfect reply after his back to back snubs. In the previous 2 matches, he was snubbed after not being able to impress in the training.
But against Chennai Super Kings, he got his chance and showed his deft touch. With 4 fours and 2 sixes, Prithvi Shaw slammed a 27-ball 43 run knock against Ruturaj Gaikwad and Co.
Prithvi Shaw missed the previous two matches. But Sourav Ganguly claimed that the opener would get his chances in the coming matches. And Shaw was finally granted his chance to play. Shaw decided to repay the favour with a sensational knock.
