Mumbai opener Prithvi Shaw continued his onslaught against Chhattisgarh as he breached the 150-run mark. The southpaw displayed a brilliant batting prowess, having returned from injury only a short while back. Shaw, along with Lalwani, have stitched together a partnership of over 240 runs so far as Mumbai remain dominant on Day 1.

The southpaw was dismissed for 159 runs off 185 deliveries. His knock was studded with 18 boundaries and three sixes. In the process, he became the only cricketer in the history of Indian cricket, to score a ton before lunch.
He had done so, during his knock of 379 as well.
Prithvi Shaw had suffered an ankle injury while playing for Northamptonshire in the Royal London Cup. For the same, he had to undergo surgery and rehab at the NCA. Meanwhile, he has played 5 Tests, 6 ODIs, and a T20I for India since making his debut back in 2018.
