Prince Yadav injures his hand but gets lucky to run-out Heinrich Klaasen in SRH vs LSG IPL 2025 clash

LSG's Prince Yadav has been on a roll as he clean bowled Travis Head with a fuller one onto the stumps!

Everyone expected a proper run-fest from the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) when they face Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Uppal. However, despite having an injury-stricken bowling attack, LSG bowlers showed immense courage not just to derail the SRH innings but take wickets regularly. One such wicket came as a lucky break for the visitors when young pacer Prince Yadav injured his hand. However, he unintentionally ran out the danger man, Heinrich Klaasen.

Who is Prince Yadav? Get to know here.

Lucky Prince Yadav gets Klaasen

So, in this crucial moment of the game, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) managed to get the wicket of Heinrich Klaasen, who was batting really well. Klaasen had scored 26 runs off just 17 balls and eyed a big partnership with Nitish Kumar Reddy.

The way Klaasen got out was a bit unlucky, to be honest. Prince Yadav bowled a pace-on delivery that was slightly outside the off stump. Nitish Kumar Reddy, the SRH batter, drilled the ball back to the bowler, and Prince managed to get a hand on it. Unfortunately for Klaasen, the ball ricocheted back onto the stumps at the bowling end, and he was run out.

This wicket is a big deal for LSG because it gives them a chance to restrict SRH to a relatively low total. With Klaasen gone, SRH will have to rely particularly on the lower order to get them close to 200. As for Prince, it was a moment of pure joy, but with some pain too! He looked in agony after the ball hit him, but gladly, he was ready to bowl the next over as well!
