The IND vs AUS T20I series is done and dusted. The Men in Blue clinched the series with a 3-1 win in the last game at Raipur. But with the series’ last game left, Australia will aim for a win to restore some pride. Australia team skipper Matthew Wade will be keen to exact the best performance from his side and is unlikely to go for any major changes on his side.
It is safe to say that the Aussies bowled well in the 4th T20I, but the batting collapse paved the way for India to secure a 20-run win. Ben Dwarshuis was crucial with the ball after having scalped 3 wickets. Jason Behrendorff and Tanveer Sangha too bagged a couple of wickets apiece.
What to expect from Australia Playing XI
- Travis Head has been in terrific form off late and the Aussie opener is a nightmare for the Indian bowlers. With his confidence at a high, Head will be keen to continue his good form along with fellow opener Josh Philippe.
- After the openers, comes the pairing of Ben McDermott and Aaron Hardie. The key factor for both the batters will be to anchor the innings which the duo has failed. Aaron Hardie who is versatile with the bowl often has seen his confidence shattered after being hit for many runs.
- Down the order is the formidable duo of Tim David and Matthe Short. Both the batters are traditional finishers and are adept in hitting the pacers all over the park. The only concern for them is tackling the spinners.
- Matthew Wade is the last of the batters and is a well-known finisher. A lot of crucial factors will be on his shoulders including key captaincy calls.
- Chris Green and Tanveer Sangha will be the spin duo while Jason Behrendorff and Ben Dwarshuis will spearhead the pace attack.
