Prabhsimran Singh century: Punjab Kings opener Prabhsimran Singh had an evening to remember at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Super Saturday. The attacking opener smashed his maiden IPL hundred against Delhi Capitals, the second one by an uncapped Indian batsman after Yashasvi Jaiswal in the tournament. The 22-year-old opener slammed his ton in only 61 balls, with the help of 10 boundaries and six massive sixes. Prabhsimran Singh registered a total of 103 runs at a strike rate of 158.46. With the hundred, Prabhsimran entered his name in history books forever, at least the one possessed by Punjab Kings franchise. For the record, Prabhsimran Singh became only the 11th batsman from the Punjab franchise to have scored a hundred in the IPL. Over the years, the Punjab franchise has contributed 13 hundreds in the IPL since the league’s inception in 2008.
