Early Career and International Exposure

Lomror made a splash on the national stage at just 16 years old when he represented India in the U-19 ICC Cricket World Cup 2016. His performance garnered attention, highlighting his immense talent and potential. Shortly after, he was acquired by Delhi Capitals during the 2016 Indian Premier League auction, marking his entry into professional cricket.

First-Class Cricket Debut

Mahipal Lomror made his debut in first-class cricket for Rajasthan during the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy season. His versatility was on full display as he made his T20 and List-A debuts for Rajasthan in 2017. Notably, during the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy season, Lomror emerged as one of Rajasthan’s leading wicket-takers, solidifying his reputation as a capable all-rounder.

IPL Journey and Team Changes

After being released by Delhi, Lomror found a new opportunity with Rajasthan in the 2018 Indian Premier League auction. Although his chances were limited initially, he continued to demonstrate his potential as an all-rounder. His breakthrough came when Royal Challengers Bengaluru showed faith in him during the 2022 IPL auction, granting him an extended stint with the franchise.

2023 IPL Season and Domestic Performances

The 2023 IPL season proved significant for Lomror, as he played a crucial role for Bengaluru, featuring in the playing XI for 13 out of 14 games. His contributions during the season further established him as a valuable player. Additionally, Lomror displayed glimpses of promise in the 2023 domestic season for his state side, Rajasthan.
