Harnoor Pannu

Harnoor Singh Pannu, born on January 30, 2003, in Jalandhar, Punjab, is a rising star in Indian cricket. Known for his left-handed batting and legbreak bowling, Harnoor has been catching the eye with his impressive performances in domestic cricket.

Coming from a cricketing family, Harnoor’s grandfather, Rajinder Singh, played in the Ranji Trophy for Punjab, and his father, Birinder Singh, represented Punjab at the U-19 level. His uncle, Bhupinder Singh Junior, was the player-of-the-tournament in the inaugural U-19 Asia Cup in 1989, making cricket a legacy in his family.

In the 2022-2023 season, Harnoor impressed with a remarkable 652 runs, including two double centuries, in the U-25 Col CK Nayudu Trophy. Despite his achievements, he wasn’t selected for the Chandigarh Ranji Trophy squad. However, his strong performances did not go unnoticed, and he earned a place in the Punjab senior men’s team for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy.

In December 2024, Harnoor’s hard work and consistency paid off when he was picked by the Punjab Kings for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, marking a significant milestone in his career.
