At the age of just 8, his passion for the sport ignited, yet faced with limited opportunities in his hometown, he relocated to Indore to undergo training at the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association’s residential academy. Drawing inspiration from cricketing stalwarts like Naman Ojha and Suryakumar Yadav, he embarked on his cricketing journey.
Making his T20 debut in 2018 followed by his List A debut the subsequent year, he displayed promising performances, yet struggled to solidify his position in the team. Determined to carve his path, he took a pivotal decision to join Railways, a move that proved pivotal.
