Angkrish’s cricket journey started in Gurgaon under the guidance of coach Mansoor Ali Khan. His dedication and talent soon caught the attention of his uncle, a former Mumbai cricket opener, who advised him to move to Mumbai for better training opportunities. There, Angkrish honed his skills under the mentorship of Abhishek Nayar and decided to permanently shift to Mumbai to develop his career further.

Achievements and Recognition

Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s cricketing prowess was first recognized when he clinched the Vijay Merchant Trophy in 2019. He has since become a key player for Mumbai, demonstrating his skills through several vital performances across age-group tournaments. His most significant breakthrough came during the Under-19 Asia Cup 2021-22, where Angkrish was India’s top scorer with 268 runs, leading to India’s victory in the tournament.

Future Prospects

In recognition of his potential and impressive performances, Angkrish was offered a contract with the Kolkata franchise for the 2024 Indian Premier League season.
