Joe Root surpassed Australian batter Steve Smith to hold a record of smashing most centuries against India in Test cricket. He accomplished this feat in the IND vs ENG 4th Test at the Ranchi Cricket Stadium.
Root also became the first batter to hit 10 centuries against India as no other batter was able to achieve his feat before.
