Punjab King’s (PBKS) last Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 campaign was a failure as they failed to qualify for the playoffs. Punjab Kings finished in eighth place in the points table standings after winning just six matches and losing eight out of fourteen games. PBKS has an opportunity in the upcoming auction to select a team that can give them better results.
However, here is the list of players that PKBS might choose to retain ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction.
Three players PBKS might retain
- Shikhar Dhawan – Though PBKS had a disappointing performance in IPL 2023, Shikhar Dhawan emerged as a dependable batter who gave a solid start to his team. He was the leading run-scorer for the team.
- Sikandar Raza – Sikandar Raza was the only Zimbabwe player to play in IPL 2023 tournament. He impressed everyone with his all-round skills. He has been in phenomenal form in international cricket and all expect him to perform in the next IPL season.
- Prabhsimran Singh – Prabhsimran Singh was another talent that emerged from the Punjab Kings side. He was the second leading for PBKS after Shikhar Dhawan.w
